Christmas is early this year. RSIBreak, considered as the most annoying - but useful - application on the KDE desktop, just published a new release. Say hello to 0.8.0. "Hello".

Just want to let you know that Tom and I just released a new version of RSIBreak: it's 0.7.1.

This morning I was surprised to see RSIBreak 0.5 in the Gentoo Stable RSS Feed. Thanks for the ebuild!

However, there are still some annoying bugs in this version which I'd like to fix ASAP. I want more features as well, but I'm lacking time at the moment.

A little while back I was looking for a torrent client for Linux.

My first shot was KTorrent, version 1.0 or 1.1 back then. But I didn't like it at all. It popped up errors when the tracker was not available, and after one night of downloading you had to click away 37 error messages. KTorrent wasn't patient enough to wait for a tracker response.

For a little while I did some contributions to RSIBreak. It started with some trivial changes to Tom's application. But I really liked hacking on this application, because it's an app I requested some time ago. In the meantime, I've implemented several features and did some fixes here and there.

Het is een poosje geleden dat ik voor het laatst hier iets geschreven heb. Dat heb je wel eens, dat je in een week meer C++ schrijft dan Nederlands (of Engels).
