Flickr On PlasmaFlickr On Plasma 0.5 has been released.

Hi,

very nice apps,

I just have a problem with it, I am unable to find specific photosets for some users (e.g. Pascal Renoux). Flickrop tell me that there is no photoset for this user.

Is it a bug or do I have missed something,

Thanks for your problem description.

I have looked into it, it appears that those users have 'restricted' content. By default, Flickr won't access content in that area.

There are two things which need to be done:

  1. You need to disable SafeSearch in your account ( http://www.flickr.com/account/prefs/safesearch/?from=privacy )
  2. You'll have to update Flickr On Plasma in the future, something higher than 0.5.2. I know, this has not been released yet at the time of writing, but I'm looking into it in order to fix the code.

Merge commit 6a6865a implements the access of restricted content. Until it's released, you can check out http://github.com/bram85/flickrop .

Edit 2009-07-02: Flickr On Plasma 0.6 addresses this issue.
